Are you interested in learning to dive and earning your PADI scuba diving certification? Or are you already a certified diver interested in earning a more advanced scuba diving certification? We offer a wide variety of PADI certifications for you to start your diving adventures or continue your scuba diving education.
Grand Turk is the perfect place to learn to dive and earn your PADI scuba diving certification, with our easy diving conditions and super-clear water. Learning to dive has never been easier! You can try scuba diving with our Resort Course to see if a scuba diving certification is something you are interested in pursuing. Or if you already know you want to earn your scuba diving certification, we offer three options for earning your PADI open water certification with us: We can conduct a full PADI open water course on Grand Turk. If you prefer to do your bookwork online before visiting, PADI offers an eLearning option. If you complete your bookwork as well as your confined water training at your local PADI dive shop, we also offer Open Water Referral dives.
If you are already certified to dive, we also offer PADI continuing education courses to increase your scuba diving knowledge and underwater skills.
One of the great things about taking scuba diving lessons on Grand Turk with us is that you are usually in a private or semi-private course. This means that the course schedule can be tailored to you as an individual instead of you having to fit into a large class.
In addition, Blue Waters Divers is proud to be the only dive center in the Turks and Caicos to be a 100% AWARE Partner. 100% AWARE Partners are ocean stewards who support a clean, healthy ocean by making a donation on behalf of each student to Project AWARE. When you earn a scuba certification with Blue Water Divers on Grand Turk, you’ll receive the Project AWARE version of your PADI certification card and be part of a movement of divers protecting our ocean planet!
It is very important to remember that scuba diving is a physical activity and can be strenuous at times. Have you ever wanted to give scuba diving a try to see if it is something you’d like to learn, without committing to a full course? Grand Turk is a great place to try scuba diving! Let one of our PADI Instructors teach you the fundamentals and guide you on an actual dive underwater. We put a maximum of four students with one instructor for this trip. You will start by meeting with your instructor to learn a some basic dive theory and how to use all your scuba diving gear. Then you will go to some shallow water with a sandy bottom area and practice a few skills, in order to get used to everything. Once everyone is comfortable in shallow water, you get to go on a real dive at the coral reef and the wall, under the supervision of your instructor. You then have the option of doing additional dive(s) under direct supervision of a Blue Water Divers instructor.
When you book a Resort Course for more than one person you get a discount! Please note that you are not a certified diver following a Resort Course.
