Some of the best Turks and Caicos diving can be found on the tiny island of Grand Turk! Our famous “wall” in the Columbus Landfall National Marine park is located 1/4 – 1/2 mile offshore on the leeward side of the island. This means short boat rides and convenient diving! Grand Turk is a small, undeveloped island with quiet beaches and gorgeous water. We are proud to call Grand Turk home!
Before you get too far into booking your adventure, if you haven’t visited us on Grand Turk before, you may want to stop and ask yourself: “Am I actually going to be on Grand Turk or will I be on a different island in the Turks and Caicos Islands chain?” This may sound like a silly question, yet we receive a significant number of inquiries from people who are not staying on Grand Turk, but are actually staying on a different island within the country of the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI). Most people who fall into this category are staying on the island of Providenciales (AKA Provo), which is the most developed island in the country. Provo is one of the Caicos Islands, and is separated from the Turks Islands (one of which is Grand Turk) by over 80 miles of open ocean (there are no roads, bridges, or tunnels connecting the Caicos Islands and the Turks Islands). As you can see from the map below, it is only a short commuter flight from Provo to Grand Turk. Please keep in mind that the flying after diving rules do apply.
Our only business location is on the island of Grand Turk, so if you will be staying on an island other than Grand Turk, you will want to look for a dive shop located on (or at least nearby!) the island where you will actually be staying for your Turks and Caicos diving adventure.
