Cancellation Policy

At Blue Water Divers we pride ourselves in what has kept us in business since 1983, and that is small groups and personal service. Our booking terms and conditions help us maintain this level of service and we have detailed these below for your review.

When booking a trip please take a moment to consider the following. Most of our customers book weeks or months in advance.  We limit the number of trip spaces available for the benefit of our customers and also restrict the number of available trips so as not to rush our cruise ship guests (we know you have a cruise ship to catch!). Once we make a reservation for you, that space on the boat is not available to other divers and/or snorkelers (not just from your ship), so we often have to turn away other business as a result of our obligation to you. In a business as small as Blue Water Divers that can be a very critical situation, as far as numbers of snorkelers/divers and the limits we put on the number of guests per trip. Our cancellation policy is intended to be fair to our guests and yet prevent significant loss of income to our small business.

Booking Terms and Conditions:

• All prices are listed in US $ and are per person.
• A 50% deposit is required to hold a reservation.
• Full payment is required 24 hours prior to arrival.
• Customer cancellation 30 or more days prior to arrival: deposit refund less 10% of the trip cost.
• Customer cancellation with more than 15 days notice, but fewer than 30 days notice: deposit refund less 25% of the trip cost.
• Trips are non-refundable with 15 or fewer days notice.
• If your ship cannot dock on Grand Turk as scheduled, we will refund your payment less 10% of the trip cost in lieu of admin/bank expenses.
• “No shows” (including late arrivals) forfeit the full trip cost.
• No refunds will be issued for unused or partially used trips or dives, including trips or dives missed due to illness, ear problems, or customer deciding not to do any pre-booked trip or dive. No trip or dive substitutions or transfers.
• Full refunds will be issued for trips cancelled by Blue Water Divers (e.g. in the event of severe weather which would make the trip unsafe).
• Any children weighing less than 40 pounds must bring their own floatation device.
• All children on trips must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Prices and conditions subject to change without notice.
• Blue Water Divers reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
